I’m fundraising for Cancer Council Victoria to help stop cancer.

After fundraising for cancer research in 2020, Amber decided she was going to keep growing her hair post Covid-lockdown until it was long enough to donate to Sustainable Salons, a social enterprise who collects hair to be made into wigs for chemotherapy patients or those with Alopecia. 
Amber had nearly 30cm cut off (25cm viable hair in the braided bundles that were cut off), which took Nez at Power Cutz in South Morang nearly an hour to complete- couldn't speak highly enough of Nez and the support of other staff members in the salon!
She now has a short bob- and she loves the idea she is helping someone in need to be able to look and feel more normal when they have lost their hair.
