Give for mothers, daughters, best friends and granddaughters.

Jo saw her mum suffer hair loss, depression, vomiting and extreme sickness with breast cancer, for five years. Until her mum died. Then, 20 years later, Jo received the same diagnosis.

Because of research, Jo’s story is different from her mother’s. She has treatments, information and care her mum never received. This is the power of research… and your support.

A mother’s history of cancer doesn’t need to be her daughter’s future.

Please give a gift to cancer research so that more women can get treatments that save their lives.

"I just love that I got a second chance," Jo says. Because of research, she has lived through what her mother could not. But the path has been incredibly difficult.

She cried as she told us about how quickly it all happened, from diagnosis to operation and not having even the time to come to terms with what was happening. And that now, she doesn’t recognise the woman in the mirror.

This is why research like Professor Laura Mackay's is so vital. It’s the next step forward in cancer treatment, and you can make it happen.

Her team is working to create smarter, kinder immunotherapies that are tailored to each person, aiming to improve survival rate while also protecting a person’s quality of life.

Please donate to cancer research this Christmas and help to discover better, kinder treatments for women like Jo.
